Shirley Rumierk

Shirley will play the role of "Vanessa Suarez" on Jason Katims’, RISE for NBC.  Last year she starred in the independent film, 11:55 opposite John Leguizamo and Elizabeth Rodriguez as well as David Frankel’s, COLLATERAL BEAUTY for New Line Cinema starring Will Smith.  She recently completed guest star roles on BLUE BLOODS for CBS and POWER for Starz. Shirley is a proud board member of The 52nd Street Project in New York City which teaches kids in Hell's Kitchen the importance of theater and arts education while working alongside professional working actors (a program she was a member of as a child). Shirley is also a proud alumna of Oliver Scholars, an organization that unlocks doors of opportunity for high achieving Black and Latino students in New York City by helping them gain admission to top independent high schools and universities in the country. Shirley is a graduate of Harvard University.


Harris Doran

John

Harris Doran is an award-winning actor, writer, director, and producer who received the Best Ultra Indie Film Award at the Woodstock Film Festival, the Audience Award at Austin Film Festival and was shortlisted for the Independent Spirit Award’s Someone To Watch Award for his writer/director feature film BEAUTY MARK (look for it coming out this May!). Harris wrote, directed and produced the award-winning short film THE STORY OF MILO & ANNIE featuring Alysia Reiner and Academy Award nominee Cathy Moriarty. He has written the feature screenplays ATTICUS BROWN IS STILL HERE (Sundance, Tribeca and Hamptons Sloan finalist), COG (Academy Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist), IN THE WAKE (Austin semifinalist), and AN UNOFFICIAL OF MICE & MEN REMAKE. He produced the award-winning short film PHOTO OP and the feature THE MUTINEER. He has written the stage musicals BLEEDING LOVE, WASP WOMAN, and SALVAGE, as well as pop songs including “Falling Away” for Marian Raven (#1 European Billboard). Harris is an award- winning actor who has been seen in projects ranging from Broadway to TV to indies including the Sundance premiering MY BEST DAY. Harris has written for the TV series “I LOVE YOU BUT I LIED” for Lifetime as well as “REENACT” for TWST.
